A Little About Myself
It’s important that we connect and understand each other, so here’s a little bit about me.
I’m the eldest daughter in an immigrant family, which means I learned responsibility early on and understand the stress of trying to balance life while still making space for yourself.
I truly believe in the importance of self-care and strive to help others prioritize their mental well-being amidst the chaos of everyday life.
Becoming a therapist just made sense for me. I’ve always been the person friends turn to when they needed a real and unbiased check of their situation. I realized that listening and supporting others was not only something I loved -it is part of who I am.
I value connection, authenticity, and use humor (when appropriate) so clients can feel seen and supported for who they are.
More than just my work:
Outside of my work, I enjoy reading, traveling, baking, and spending time outdoors - especially relaxing by the beach - my happy place!
I cherish time with my family and friends and I’m also a big sports fan. Rugby is my favorite sport, and I proudly cheer for the New Zealand All Blacks!
Me, As Your Therapist
Life can feel overwhelming, confusing, and lonely at times. It’s like no matter how many lists you make, or how organized you are – nothing seems to be getting done.
Many of my clients come to me this way and often feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure of how to manage the different facets of their lives.
My passion is to help – and therapy is just my path to do it.
Though I do enjoy talk therapy – with me you will get more direct communication and less of the other therapeutic fluff that many other therapists rely on.
Together, we’ll create a comfortable, open, and no bullshit environment where you can express your truth openly without judgment.
I believe in the power of regulating the nervous system, understanding your emotions, and learning how to sit with discomfort rather than avoiding it. Emotions play out differently for everyone, so helping you recognize how yours do is often the first step in getting relief.
My goal is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, in control of your life – and ultimately not need to see me anymore. No one wants to be in therapy forever, and I understand and encourage this!
For Parents:
Seeing your child struggle with their emotions, social interactions, behaviors, and school work can be hard. I like to work with my kiddos one on one, as well as with the parents so that everyone can learn to communicate in a way that each understands.
Whether it’s parenting a neurodivergent child who just won't listen, dealing with your own anxiety or depression, or having issues communicating with your partner – you do not have to figure this out alone.
If you’re ready to put in some work, hash out your issues, and get your life back, reach out and schedule a free Discovery Call with me today.
