A Little About Myself

Hi there!

I'm Nav and here's a little about myself so you can see if we are going to be a good fit for each other.

I specialize in helping adults and couples navigate ADHD, sexual trauma, sexual concerns, and the complicated ways they show up in intimacy, desire, communication, and relationships.

I'm also an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist—which basically means I spend my days talking about the things most people avoid at dinner parties but end up Googling at 2 a.m. on a random Tuesday.

I work with individuals and couples who want more than surface-level insight. We look at how trauma, attachment, neurodiversity, culture, identity, relationships, and your nervous system all interact—because people are complex, and healing isn't about fixing one isolated problem. It's about understanding the whole picture.

I believe the best therapy combines science with genuine human connection.

I integrate evidence-based approaches like EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Sex Therapy, and Attachment-focused work to help clients move beyond insight and create meaningful, lasting change.

My therapeutic work is especially informed by my experience as a South Asian woman, where conversations about mental health, sexuality, family expectations, and perfectionism are often surrounded by silence, stigma, or shame. I understand what it's like to navigate multiple worlds and the pressure of balancing cultural values with authenticity. Whether you identify with that experience or not, I bring a culturally responsive lens that honors the unique story you carry.

And lastly—with me as your therapist, you'll probably laugh during therapy. Maybe even while talking about something incredibly painful. I don't think humor minimizes healing; I think it makes healing possible. If we can laugh at some of life's chaos while making sense of it, we're probably doing something right.

So, if you're ready for therapy that is honest, compassionate, a little irreverent, and deeply invested in helping you understand yourself, I'd love to work with you.

Me, As Your Therapist

I might be a good fit for you if the following questions resonate with you:

Do you ever feel like your brain is always "on," but your body seems to slam on the brakes at exactly the wrong moment?

Or maybe your inner dialogue sounds more like:
"Why do I crave connection but also get overwhelmed by it?"
"Why does my brain have 47 tabs open, and somehow none of them are the one I actually need?"

If you're reading this thinking, "Yep...that's me," welcome, my fellow neurospicy human—you've found the right therapist.

Together we'll work on helping your nervous system feel safe, understanding why your brain and body respond the way they do, and building relationships that feel secure, connected, and genuinely fulfilling instead of something you're constantly surviving or trying to "fix."

My style is warm, direct, collaborative, refreshingly nonjudgmental—all with a healthy dose of sarcasm and humor when it's helpful.

I'm not interested in pathologizing who you are.

I'm interested in helping you understand yourself. That means we can talk about the hard things, the awkward things, the things you've never said out loud, and yes...even sex, without it feeling cold or uncomfortable. (Okay, maybe a little uncomfortable—but the productive kind of uncomfortable.)
