A Little About Myself

Therapy, to me, is a transformative and healing experience. I believe deeply in the power of connection between therapist and client. A strong therapeutic connection is built on understanding and trust, even if that trust begins as a small spark. It is within that connection that true healing can take place.


Coming from a North Indian household has shaped much of who I am today. While my upbringing was not always filled with love, it was manageable and taught me resilience as I navigated the challenges of becoming my authentic self. Those experiences give me unique insights, allowing me to empathize deeply with my clients' personal journeys and challenges.


In my personal life, I am an animal lover with two fur babies, one in heaven, who remains close to my heart, and the other one is my golden lab, who is my soul dog. One of my dreams is to own a ranch where I can rescue animals and help them find loving homes. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family, dancing, and indulging in my love for music. I am a big fan of concerts and love discovering new places to eat, as I am a self-proclaimed foodie. Staying active is important to me, and I find joy in working out regularly.


I am also a proud lifelong fan of the San Francisco 49ers, the Oakland A's, and the Golden State Warriors. These teams have been a big part of my life, offering moments of excitement and community.


Professionally, I have had the privilege of pursuing two lifelong dreams: becoming both a nurse and a therapist. I became a nurse in 2020 and have always been drawn to the fast-paced, adrenaline-filled world of healthcare. Yet, my passion for therapy stems from its healing potential. Therapy is a journey full of ups and downs, where I witness clients face their struggles, experience growth, and ultimately heal. It is this process that I find truly magical.

As your therapist, your well-being is my top priority. It is incredibly rewarding to witness your growth, the application of new skills, and your ability to navigate life’s challenges. My role is to create a safe, supportive space where you can freely express yourself without fear of judgment as we work together toward your goals.


In our sessions, we will focus on areas based on your unique needs, whether it is developing emotional regulation techniques, building self-esteem by challenging negative self-talk or healing from trauma. For couples, it could be working on improving communication and conflict resolution to strengthen your relationship.


I am passionate about breaking the stigma that men do not go to therapy. Therapy is for everyone and provides powerful benefits for those who are ready to explore their emotions and find healing. I am committed to normalizing therapy as a sign of strength.


I prioritize creating an environment where clients feel emotionally safe and free to be vulnerable. Therapy can be hard work and may bring up emotions you have hidden for years, but I want you to know that healing is possible, and there is hope.
