A Little About Myself
Some clients feel as though they need to bring a problem to therapy to seek out or continue treatment. I believe therapy is not only about helping clients when they are faced with difficult times, but also celebrating their successes, and providing maintenance and preventative care.
I sincerely believe that quality treatment should not be limited to a pre-set number of sessions. What works for someone in 8 sessions, might take another person 12, or 16! My main focus is to help my clients reach their treatment goals, regardless of how many sessions it may take.
It is important to me to remain reliable, available, and to meet my client’s where they are so we can work together to gain each other’s trust.
I often use an integrated health approach in my practice and think every person or relationship is different. So, I like to offer custom tailored interventions for each client so their unique set of challenges are addressed fully.
Sometimes life happens TO us, and our relationships face the brunt of the changes and chaos that life can bring. I want to help couples who want to make sure their relationship is solid when life gets chaotic. I want to help couples who are trying to survive from recent (or not so recent) chaos. But mostly, I want to help couples find peace within their relationship again. I want to help you regain your footing and your confidence in each other.
Let me be your relationship guide and help you reconnect in a way that you didn’t think possible. Reach out today and schedule a consultation.
Me, As Your Therapist
I am a Doctor of Clinical Psychology, who has spent the majority of her career to date providing mental health services to a wide variety of high-risk patients, including the individuals committed to psychiatric hospitals, and those with co-morbid mental and terminal health diagnoses. I have also worked in a private practice setting since 2020, treating clients diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety, mood and personality disorders, among others. I completed her pre-doctoral residency at Marin Human Health Services and my post-doctoral residency at Kaiser. I firmly believe that progress is not always linear and it takes time to achieve and strives to maintain an authentic approach to treatment.
